This is the kiln where the clay pipes we carved were baked. These pipes were about 10-15 feet tall, but there were bigger ones! This company still makes pipes for cities like New York. But, since many cities have switched to plastic pipes, sculptors now have the opportunity to go in and carve the pipes.

Phoenix Sculpture Workshop 2015
Just remembering one of my sculpture workshops I did with the International Sculpture Center. I can’t wait to go to another conference when the pandemic is over!

This is the second art walk I have done and it was wonderful! Thank-you to the paint spot and all the volunteers who helped over the three days. I hope to see you all again next year.

I am in two group shows at the moment: The Winds of Time at the Muttart Conservatory, and the Bread and Basket Membership Show at the VAAA Gallery at Harcourt House. I have a large figurative sculpture at the Muttart and an abstract one at the VAAA. Currently, I am preparing for the Old Strathcona Art Walk which starts on Friday. Come out and have a look!
